I am primarily an out-of-network provider for most insurances and am an in-network provider for Aetna and Northwell Direct. 

For folks who are out-of-network:

• My individual session fee is $200 for a 45-minute to an hour session.

• My couples session fee is $250 for a 60-minute session.

For folks who have Aetna and Northwell Direct:

• You would pay the copay for specialists (SPC) listed on your insurance card

Many therapy participants will have an annual out-of-network deductible, where they will have to pay out-of-pocket before receiving partial reimbursement of around 30-70% for the sessions afterward through their out-of-network benefits.

Please reach out to your insurance to inquire more about your out-of-network benefits for a psychotherapy session. My office will also look into these benefits before we move forward with scheduling a first session.

My office partners with Thrizer, a platform that will automatically submit superbills, a detailed receipt of our services, to your insurance company to process an out-of-network claim. These superbills may usually take 2-3 weeks to a month to process, and thus a reimbursement via direct deposit into your bank account takes around the same time as well.

I believe therapy should be financially accessible and strive to accommodate those who cannot afford my full fee. While I have limited sliding scale slots, I'd be happy to discuss more about your financial needs, and I will let you know if this is possible for our work together. If I am unable to accommodate you, I will connect you with other therapists who will be able to meet your financial needs.

I charge the rate I do to better sustain myself in offering the best quality and effective mental health care to everyone across all socioeconomic statuses. This also allows me to continue to participate in additional trainings that sharpen and expand the clinical tools I utilize in my sessions. 

More importantly, these fees contribute to mutual aid, a value I cherish and intentionally embody. Folks who are paying the full fee for the session are directly subsidizing low-fee appointments for people with less financial resources who would benefit from this work to meet their needs.
